Was getting frustrated because Ohm’s Law is supposed to be “easy” but I kept messing it up.
What I was messing up:
- Not paying attention to units
- Mixing up watts, volts, and amps
- Plugging numbers in without thinking
What clicked:
It wasn’t the formula—it was the units.
Once I slowed down and asked:
“What am I solving for?”
“What units should the answer be in?”
Everything started lining up.
Also started double checking:
Volts × Amps = Watts
If that didn’t make sense, I knew I messed up somewhere.
Takeaway:
Ohm’s Law isn’t hard—the discipline is.
Next step:
Keep practicing but focus on units every single time.
