🗓️APRIL 19, 2026
On the content side, I’ve built a solid system for my posts—focusing on quick-hit breakdowns of code and electrical theory. I’m uploading 3–4 times a day, with around 50 posts already drafted and more scheduled daily. Right now, I’m finishing up fire alarm systems and swimming pool content, and I’ve got grounding and bonding lined up for next month.
I’ve also been condensing my journal entries into short-form posts for TikTok and Shorts. Those discussions have been huge—not just for engagement, but for reinforcing what I actually know. Explaining things simply forces clarity.
I kept up with my weekly posts on Fast Trax forums too, rotating between (planning on 2020 soon), 2023, and 2026 NEC cycles. It’s been a great way to spark discussion and understand how the code evolves over time—plus it helps people in different states who are on different cycles.
On my website, I made some changes that seem small but took a lot of effort. There’s a new navigation system now to better organize Quick Hits, journal entries, and weekly reports. It’s a constant process—I’ll probably never be fully satisfied with how it looks, but that’s fine. The information matters most, and honestly, I enjoy the process of building and refining it.
Back in class, we worked through Article 314 (junction boxes) and Article 250 (grounding) packets this week. Both helped confirm a lot of concepts for me, and I’m happy with how I performed. Looking forward to the final week—though it’ll be a bit strange not having class for a while. That said, I’ve got my own study plan to keep momentum going.
I’m still doing daily circuit/load calculations and “code busters,” basically building my own practice exams using TradeHog AI and my backlog of material. I’m getting faster every day.
I remember being completely lost on Ohm’s Law and NEC load calculations not that long ago. But all the hours—watching Paul Abernathy, grinding circuits on paper like Keith Nichols taught in Modules 1 and 2—it’s all starting to pay off.
Still a lot to learn. But I’m hungrier than ever.
The website has been reorganized, and you are now able to find organized folders in each section. Question archive soon to come.
