🗓️ SEPTEMBER 27, 2026 ⚡ SPARKY WEEKLY — WEEK #28

This week kept the same shape as the last one: study, build, teach it back. Bay Path Module 5 is 20 classes deep with 20 to go, over 300 NEC questions are now completed, and this week's math work leaned hard into conduit fill, raceways, conductor sizing, box fill, ampacity, and motor calculations.

The archive also crossed 500 posts across all platforms, a new free course went live, and Deep NEC Web Browsing Episode 4 dropped along with the outtakes and a 1,000-slide study video.

🧠 NEC Study & Theory — Kept working NEC questions and calculations, with this week's focus on the math behind conduit fill, raceways, conductor sizing, box sizing and fill, ampacity, and motor circuits. Now past 300 questions completed.

📚 Bay Path Module 5 — Module 5, class 20. 20 more classes left this semester, 25 total needed before Module 6 opens up, continuing to connect the electrical math to real NEC calculations.

❓ Question of the Week — This week's 2026 NEC question covers ampacity correction: #10 AWG copper THHN in a 42°C (108°F) ambient location, finding the corrected ampacity.

🔎 Deep NEC Web Browsing — Episode 4 — Released Episode 4 along with the outtakes from last week and a new 1,000 study slides video, continuing the same process: search, find the source, identify the edition, follow the references, verify.

📖 Sparky's Journal — New entry: Everything You Need to Know About Conduit Fill, tying directly into this week's Module 5 math.

🎓 How to Study the NEC — New free course now live on the site, built around the same idea as Quick Hits: explaining the process, not just the answer.

There's always another formula, another Code section, another job, another thing I don't understand yet. That's part of the trade, and it's why I enjoy this.
