• Water acting as a conductor

WHY BONDING MATTERS

DIFFERENT SURFACES = DIFFERENT POTENTIALS

• Rebar (in structure)

• Water itself

Even small voltage differences matter in water.

Bonding forces everything to the same electrical potential

So there is:

• No voltage gradient

• No “across-the-body” current path
